DEPOSITS

 

 

We require a non-refundable deposit of $300.00. If something were to happen to your chosen puppy prior to leaving our home the deposit may be transferred to another puppy if available or first pick from next litter. The buyer agrees to take said puppy to a licensed Veterinarian within 5 business days of purchase for a vet check. If your vet determines your puppy to be ill, a verified letter from the vet is required stating the health issue. Breeder has the option to request a second opinion from another vet in the area of his choice.

 

 

 

 

Your puppy is warranted to the following extent and to the age of 24 months:

 

1. The dog does not clear OFA rating for normal hip conformation at 2 yr of age. The xray must be taken by a specialist in orthopedic radiology

 

2.The eyes do not clear the CERF exam administeredby a Veterinarian ophthalmologist for progressive retinal atrophy at 2 yr of age.

 

3. Any terminal genetic health issue that cannot be treated and is life threatening. If a puppy needs to be euthanized the breeder MUST be notified by phone BEFORE any decisions are made. If the breeder is NOT contacted before hand, no replacements will be given. We will then have our vet review the report and examine the dog. If it is found to be severely debilitating or life threatening we will keep the said animal and replace with a puppy of equal quality/sex/color from our next litter. No warranty of any kind will be given until proof of spay/neuter has been received by the breeder. Puppy is to be returned with all AKC documents and shot record to date. No warranty will be given if this puppy ever sired or produced a litter.

 

All above are subject to verification by a vet of the breeders choice.

 

This guarantee does not cover injuries or accidents. Buyer agrees in the event that said puppy has to be replaced, the breeder will offer a replacement of equal quality and breeding from an upcoming AKC litter.

 

Please be careful where you take your puppy until his immune system is well protected by a full series of vaccinations at 16 weeks old.

 

Buyer agrees to have puppy spayed/neutered between 6 months and1 year of age and to provide proof to the breeder.

 

All puppies will be sold as companions with limited papers unless prior agreement is made

 

Buyer excepts all responsibilities and liabilities for said dog. We will NOT be held liable after said dog leaves our premises

 

Buyer agrees to feed a premium quality grain free dog food (suggest Nutro or ProPlan) to insure proper health and provide adequate housing with fresh food and water daily.

 

Buyer agrees to maintain routine health care with regular exams and preventative care along with routine grooming and nail trims.

 

Buyer agrees that this Akita is to never be placed, sold, or disposed of in any way without first contacting the breeder.

 

Buyer agrees to periodically send breeder pictures and updates on said puppy
